"install.sh" will install adb and fastboot to /usr/local/bin/ and set both executable. This will give you just adb and fastboot. Mark, download from here and unzip the zip file. I did think of it but I assume I'd have to install the whole shebang to get those two little bits and I'm using a very old very limited space verrrry slow laptop.
